Club Rules
1 Subscriptions must be paid by 1st.March.
2 Fishing Times
2.1 1st May to 31st August Inclusive:
Members must not be on the car parks before 4.00am
Members must be back on the car parks by 11.00pm
2.2 1st September to 30th April inclusive:
Members must not be on the car parks before 7.00am
Members must be back on the car parks by 11.00pm
3 All fish must be handled with care and returned to the water alive.
4 No fish may be taken away alive or dead without the express permission of the club. To do so may give rise to a criminal prosecution under Schedule 1 Section 2 of the Theft Act. Any members removing fish from or transferring between the club waters will be expelled from the club.
5 Fish deaths must be reported to the Secretary or Treasurer.
6 All litter especially tin cans, plastic bags and fishing line must be taken away and not discarded around the waters or on car parks.
7 Members are restricted to 2 rods only except for pike and carp fishing between 1st October to the last day of March, when 3 rods will be allowed. Members are restricted to fishing from a single peg.
8 Any angler using a rod with terminal tackle in the water must not leave their peg without reeling in first.
9 Membership Cards must be produced at the request of a bailiff or another member. Otherwise, the person will be asked to leave the club waters. Note: All holders of this card are authorised to challenge any suspected trespasser found on club waters.
10 The transfer of members’ cards to any other person is strictly forbidden. Any member doing so will be expelled from the club.
11 All club trophies must be returned to the club secretary one month before the next AGM.
12 All dogs accompanying members must be on a lead whilst the member is fishing or walking the club waters.
13 No powerful lights are to be used on the club waters at any time.
14 Radios or any other type of media player must be listened to using headphones and not played through the speaker, however quietly.
15. Live-baiting is not allowed. Dead baiting is permitted provided that any baits are sourced outside club waters and brought in frozen.
16. Use of the ‘Club boat’ MUST:
16.1 Be for a recognised use that has been authorised by a Club Official.
16.2 Have a minimum of 2 persons present while the boat is being used
16.3 Have all persons in the boat wearing an approved Life-jacket.
No other boats are permitted to be used on our waters unless authorised by the Clubs Officials.
17 All club members must hold the applicable Environment Agency Licence.
18 All members must sign the indemnity clause when joining the club.
19 All pegs must be vacated at least one hour prior to club matches.
20 Proposals for amendments to the Club Rules must be put in writing to the Secretary not less than fourteen days before the AGM.
